Google AdWords
Advertizers can buy advertising text links to search inquiries at Google. The text links are displayed also in the context of the Adsense programme on internet pages.
AdWords is an advertising programme introduced by Google (Google AdWords) first on search engine sides: As an addition to the search result commercial text advertisements are displayed on the right besides the search results above or in a column. The Adwords advertorials are fenced off by the column heading "advertisements" from the noncommercial search results. The advertizer must indicate one or more keywords for every advertorial under which the advertisement shall be published at Google. The advertisement heading is interlinked and leads the interested party on the web site of the advertizer.
This form of the Internet advertising is settled depending on the number of clicks (Pay-per-Click).
Adwords is specifically aimed at shop operators as well as service providers and it offers alternatives or additions for the "classic" search engines marketing. This can swallow a high marketing budget fast himself since the search engine relevant Keywords have got very "cost-intensive" by now, though. Since the choice of the optimal Keywords (cost-benefit ratio), suitable advertising texts and ongoing supervision as well as control are also extremely important for an Adwords campaign both, the budget estimated for this recommends assigning itself to a service provider specialized in it or explaining itself very intensively with that and experimenting substantially.
The online advertisement programme Adwords has been introduced on Google.de since October 2002 in German. The Adwords programme was not new at this time but got operated already before in English on Google.com . This concept was taken on by other search engines meanwhile too and is used also on web pages of other suppliers.
